Pro Bat Solutions
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service explain the scope of our bat-proofing and attic restoration services, warranty coverage, and the responsibilities of Pro Bat Solutions and the property owner.
01
Two-Year Warranty
Pro Bat Solutions provides a 2-year, non-transferable warranty on completed bat-proofing work unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty covers bats gaining access to the interior of the structure through areas treated or secured by Pro Bat Solutions.
The warranty does not guarantee that bats will not land, temporarily roost, or otherwise be present on the exterior of the structure.
02
Changes or Damage to the Structure
The warranty does not cover new or reopened entry points resulting from conditions that occur after our work is completed, including deterioration, settling or movement of the structure, remodeling or construction, roofing or siding work, animal damage, wind or storm damage, ice or snow damage, or other alterations to the property. Repairs made necessary by these conditions are outside the original scope of work and may be completed for an additional charge.
03
Appearance of Bat-Proofing Repairs
Bat-proofing requires sealing openings and gaps on the exterior of a structure. Pro Bat Solutions will make reasonable efforts to keep repairs neat and as inconspicuous as practical. Sealants, screening, flashing, fasteners, and other materials may remain visible. Because existing building materials vary in age, color, texture, and weathering, an exact match cannot always be guaranteed.
04
Other Wildlife
Bats may share openings, attics, wall cavities, soffits, or other areas with other wildlife. Sealing a structure for bats may affect animals that were present but not known or visible at the time of service. Pro Bat Solutions is not responsible for issues involving other wildlife that may result from the contracted bat-proofing work.
05
Special-Order Materials
Certain properties may require specially ordered products or materials. A deposit may be required before ordering. Deposits associated with special-order materials are non-refundable once the order has been placed.
06
Chimneys, Gas Vents & Mechanical Equipment
Certain chimneys, fireplaces, gas appliance vents, HVAC components, powered exhaust vents, and other mechanical systems may require service or modification by an appropriately qualified contractor. Pro Bat Solutions will not modify, seal, or obstruct a system when doing so could interfere with safe or proper operation. Work requiring specialized licensing or certification is the property owner's responsibility unless specifically included in the written estimate.
07
Scope of Work
Pro Bat Solutions will perform only the services described in the customer's approved estimate or service agreement. Work outside the agreed-upon scope, including additional repairs, modifications, exclusion work, cleanup, or restoration requested by the property owner, may result in additional charges. Any additional charges will be discussed with and approved by the customer before that work is performed.
08
Attic Restoration
Attic restoration work is limited to the accessible areas, materials, and services specifically listed in the approved estimate. Conditions concealed beneath insulation, inside wall or ceiling cavities, behind building materials, or otherwise not reasonably visible before work begins may require a revised scope or additional charge.
Unless specifically listed in writing, attic restoration does not include structural repairs, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mold remediation, asbestos or other hazardous-material abatement, or correction of moisture sources. Any added work must be discussed with and approved by the customer before it is performed.
09
Payment
Payment is due in full on the day the services listed in the approved estimate are performed, unless other payment arrangements have been agreed to in writing before the scheduled service date.
10
Cancellations & Scheduling
Pro Bat Solutions reserves labor, equipment, materials, and scheduling time for each project. Cancellations or significant scheduling changes may be subject to a reasonable cancellation or rescheduling fee. Any applicable fee will be communicated to the customer.
11
Unpaid Balances
The customer is responsible for all amounts due under the approved estimate or service agreement. Past-due balances may be subject to reasonable collection costs to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12
Acceptance of Terms
By approving an estimate, authorizing Pro Bat Solutions to begin work, or paying a required deposit, the property owner or authorized representative acknowledges and accepts the applicable scope of work and these Terms of Service.
